Today we had plans to go watch one of the biggest fireworks festival in Japan wearing our ゆかた (yukata) but its looking like it will rain today so we have decided on a change of plans. We will go to the 戸田橋 花火 (Todabashi fireworks) instead which is next week and a little closer to home and less packed making it easier to take photos...
So today we have decided to head off to Ikebukuro for a bit of shopping and go to a Purikura (Photo Club) which are sticker photos for those that don't know what they are.
Ikebukuro is another suburb (prefecture) that has a large shopping centre (like a Westfields but a lot larger) and very popular for buying pretty much anything. If the weather holds up we will head into Tokyo city and see the fireworks with the large crowd.
Time to head out..
