って今年のお正月・・・
本当にお正月とも思えないお正月を迎えたょ〜〜〜（笑）
もう後、3日でｵｰｽﾄﾗﾘｱに旅立つので、年末ギリギリまで仕事。
それからは準備やなんやらでﾊﾞﾀﾊﾞﾀと・・・
年越しソバはとりぁぇず作ったんだけどね。毎年、これはかかせなぃｗ
During the New Year count down it is tradition to eat Soba. So Anna cooked me up some very oiishii soba!!. I never liked soba at the restaurants but Anna knows how to make GREAT! soba. hehe. Thanks darling

ウチのソバのスープはお雑煮と同じモノを使うんだけど、
鶏がらを２時間くらい煮込んで、スープを取ったものに、白だしで味つけ。
それに、大根と人参をささがきしたものと鶏肉のモモ肉を柔らかくなるまで煮込んだもの。
シンプルだけど、めっちゃ美味しい。それに、ゆずをちょっとのせて食べるんだけど、ダーリンも美味しい〜〜〜って沢山食べてくれました♪
In the morning we woke up in 2009 and to start to day off its tradition to eat Mochi, unfortunately its not something i can eat alot of. haha None the less Anna finished it up for us both.

元旦には、前日に作ったスープに豆もやしを足して、お餅を焼いたモノをいれてお雑煮に。
４個も食べてしまいました（爆）
でも、今年は、久しぶりにおせちも何も作れず・・・やっぱり、おせちもないとお正月っていう気もしないね〜。なんかね〜〜〜。おせちを作ろうかとも一瞬は悩んだんだけどさ、引越しの片付けをしなきゃでそれどころではないなとｗｗｗ台所用品や食材を増やせなぃもんね〜。しょうがなぃ・・・泣
We headed off to Asakusa to pray at the temple for the new year.

初詣はまたまた『浅草』に行ってきました〜。ここ半年で４度目ｗｗｗ家から30分位で着くし、何気に近いんだよね〜。人が少ないのを狙って、夜８時過ぎに行って来たょ！！
やっぱり、並んでなかったｗｗｗ
ダーリンもご両親へのお土産に置物と湯呑みのセットを購入。
もぅ、これで準備ばっちりでしょ〜！！
Anna got great fortunate for 2009 and while i got well.. id rather not say.. hahaha (Im relying on your fortune darling).

やった〜〜〜〜〜！！！
久しぶりおそらく、５年以上ぶりに大吉！！！！！！
絶対に風向きが変わってる予感♪
書いてあること、、、Excellent！！
怖い位に悪いことが１つも書いてなかった。今年は絶対にィィ年にしてやる♪
Then we went off to bowling at Round 1..

そしてそして！！お正月って言ったら、やっぱボーリングでしょ！！
って事でラウンドワンに行ってきたよ〜〜〜〜〜
そしてなんと！！
Anna managed a 173 which is a first for her! Looks like that fortune is off to a great start, and well my score.. well .. i was under some pressure.. hahaha

出しました。今までは165だったんだけど。初170代で、良いスタートを切ったなとｗ
つ〜か、何のスタートだよ！！ってくらい関係なぃんだけどさｗ
でも、結局アベレージではダーリンに負けちゃった〜ｗｗｗ
Also in the New Year we took the time to meet Ryo (drummer for the Star Club) and old friend of Anna.

そしてそして、今日は、大御所パンクバンドTHE STAR CLUB のドラムRYOと飲みに行って来た！！石垣行く前に会ってぶり。彼自身のサイトを作る事になり、打ち合わせもかねて。
まぁ、１年は会えなくなっちゃうしね〜。しかも、私達３人タメなんだよね（笑）
タメが３人は結構珍しいｗｗｗ
今日聞いたんだけど、STAR CLUBは今年で結成32年だって〜〜〜すげ〜ね。ほんと。
うちらが生まれる前からあるんだもんね〜。
RYOはそんなメンバーの中、若いのに頑張ってぃる。
他にも２つのバンドでドラムを叩き、それでもやっぱり、まだ満足なんて出来ないし、もっと上を目指したいって。そういう頑張ってる人って、やっぱり応援したぃょね。
でも、色々な色を持った彼だから、きっとすごいドラマーになるんだろぅなと思う。
ほんとに最高のドラマーだょ♪私はRYOのドラムが大好きで、まじかっこぃぃと思う。
ほんとに、皆頑張ってるよね。。。私も負けないよ〜に頑張らなきゃなって、周りの友達にほんとにパワーを貰ってるな〜。皆、いつもありがとう。

Thanks again Ryo (very cool guy) for taking the time to meet with us and hope to meet you again when we return to Japan. Take care and have fun.

今年は、オーストラリアに居るので、皆にも全然会えなくて寂しいけど・・・泣

Today is also the first day that it will start to get really cold in Tokyo and yeah.. it is so SAMUI today!! haha.. We put on some warm clothes and then our jackets on top and headed out the door to be surprised with...... Fuji-san!!

This is the first time we seen Fuji-san from our apartment. Right out the front of our door we can see it so clearly! So great!! I got out my camera and took a few photos. Please enjoy them! ^^

と思いきや・・・・・・・
今（５pm）！！！キレ〜〜〜

This apartment was originally our first choice but we decided to look around for something cheaper and maybe closer to Tokyo station. In the end we decided on our first choice and we are both very happy with our decision.

Let us give you a tour of what we will be calling home for 3 months.

The house is your typical Japanese size, quite small but comfortable for the both of us (not great for having guests over). As you enter the apartment you have a small area in front of the door to take your shoes off and change into your house shoes (slippers). We have a little kitchen here with 1 burner, a sink, tiny fridge the size of those mini bar fridges (not sure how we are going to manage with it.. hehe but maybe will buy another fridge later).

Now you open the door and welcome to the living room/bedroom.

The apartment is fully furnished with what you see above. This includes;

- 2 seater sofa
- Double Bed
- 32" Sharp HD LCD TV
- Air conditioner
- 3 closets

Now onto the bathroom..

The bathroom is almost the size of the living room/bedroom and includes;

- Shower/Bath combination
- Toliet (with all the fun modes to try lol)
- Wash sink
- Washing machine/Dryer combination
- Mirror

Now let me tell you about the shower. This is no ordinary shower as you can see below

The shower/bath combination has 4 features. You can have a bath or spa, use the hand shower (see the shower head you can hold), use the ceiling shower, and finally get a massage. You sit down on the little extended piece of shower wall and turn on the jets to get a nice gentle massage (just be sure to have your back facing the jets before you turn it on otherwise you might be down and out for the count.. hehe).

We did have a little problem however. The door to the bathroom is all glass. So while your sitting down going to the toilet you can see inside from the bed or sofa. Haha. So not a great feeling to be in full view of your partner while on the toilet. We fixed this quickly by going out to buy some material which we cut to size and stuck to the glass using double sided tape. Problem solved!

Location wise is great. A lot of shops near our house and about a 15 minute walk to the station (we are also thinking of buying a bicycle to make that trip quickier). Once at the station its about a 35 minute train ride to Akihabara.

And thats our house.

ｸﾘｽﾀﾙの小さなﾊﾞﾀﾌﾗｲもとっても可愛くて、しかも留め具の所は３粒のダイヤが(*ＵωＵ*)


ほんとに輝きがすごく綺麗で感動してしまぃました！！


めっちゃ喜んでしまぃました（爆）
女ってほんと単純だょな〜。なんて思ってしまった・・・ｗ
でも、やっぱﾌﾟﾚｾﾞﾝﾄって嬉しぃね。

もぅ若くもなぃし・・・

まぁ、そんなこんなでもぅﾀﾞｰﾘﾝがｺｯﾁに来てから３日が経過。
昨日から、会社に一緒に連れてきて、仕事も手伝って貰ってるんだけど。
私はWEBﾃﾞｻﾞｨﾅｰ、彼はｸﾞﾗﾌｨｯｸﾃﾞｻﾞｲﾅｰ。
てか、二人で会社できるじゃん！！爆

ｵｰｽﾄﾗﾘｱとは、やっぱり働く時間も全く違うし、向こうでは大体7時間程度、
私は1日10時間！！帰る頃には相当参ってたっぽぃ・・・。
今日からは、自分のﾉｰﾄPCを会社に持参してるから、
だいぶﾏｼなんじゃなぃかなぁっては思ぅけどｗ

彼はﾃﾞｻﾞｨﾅｰだけど、ﾌｫﾄｸﾞﾗﾌｧｰでもぁり、今回ｶﾒﾗも相当持って来てて、
昨日、昼休みにﾖﾄﾞﾊﾞｼでｶﾒﾗを少し見たんだけど、やっぱり向こぅよりはﾀﾞｲﾌﾞ安いみたぃ。
会社のﾃﾞｻﾞｲﾅｰさんの話にょると、ｿﾌﾏｯﾌﾟにも掘り出し物があったりするとかで・・・。
今日は、その辺攻めてみょぅかとｗｗｗ
ﾀﾞｰﾘﾝにも、まだｱｷﾊﾞをそんなに見せてなぃからなぁ。
ﾎﾝﾄに忙し過ぎて・・・。

明日は隅田川の花火大会！！人込みに揉まれてきます・・・
その前にﾌﾞｸﾛで映画でも見ようかと思ってるんだけど、
東京を好きになってくれるとぃぃなぁ・・・と思いつつ
私も久しぶりの東京を楽しみま〜〜〜す♪

Unfortunately the flight was not direct as stated. We had to stop in Cairns on the way to refuel, drop off some passengers and pick up some Japanese tourists going home from Cairns. No drama really as it gave me a chance to stretch my legs. Unfortunately during the flight Qantas thought it be nice to have the air conditioner on as cold as possible. Which in return ended up having quite a lot of people sniffing and coughing during the flight (myself included).

About halfway between Cairns and Japan we fly over a number of very remote islands. Nothing special until there was one that caught my eye. The island was the shape of a butterfly (known as Butterfly Island). The dark part of the wings (spots) was the actual island but around the islands shaped like the butterfly's wings and body was crystal clear, light blue water. Very beautiful and very remote.



Once we started getting closer to Japan the sun started to set. But what a sight from the plane it was. The sun was setting in the distance with Mt. Fuji clearly visible in the foreground. Truly a beautiful welcome to Japan and one that I will not forget.

After passing through customs without any problems I am finally in Japan. I come out to find Anna waiting for me. Both of us feeling very excited and nervous give each other a hug, hold hands and she helps with my bags. We go upstairs to grab a bite to eat and head home on the 2hour train ride for some much needed sleep.

I apologize for the late post but we have been very busy preparing our house.
